Israeli Airstrikes Kill Three Amid Ongoing Ceasefire Violations

(MENAFN) Three Palestinians were killed on Saturday in separate Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, according to medical and local sources, in what was described as the latest breach of the ongoing ceasefire arrangement.

One of the victims was a municipal worker employed by the Bureij municipality, who was killed when a drone strike hit a waste disposal site near the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Local reports said he was carrying out his duties at the time of the attack.

In a separate incident, two Palestinians lost their lives after an airstrike targeted a group of civilians in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. According to reports, the bodies of the victims were taken to Nasser Hospital.

The attack also left a child moderately injured, medical sources said.

The latest strikes came a day after the Israeli military said it had killed 20 Palestinians across Gaza over the previous week, claiming that those targeted were affiliated with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad movement.
